Project Pride

These awards have been introduced to recognise and reward the projects working as part of the Capital Delivery AMP7 Framework who are achieving Health and Safety Excellence.

The awards will be issued on a six-monthly basis to projects of all sizes and at all stages of the construction lifecycle, but only to those who are assessed to have consistently achieved standards befitting of ‘Excellence’.

The assessment process will align with the criteria set out in the ‘Our Safety, Health & Wellbeing Strategy’ document. Assessment activity will also include a review of all leading and lagging H&S performance information submitted in the period.

This document decsribes the awards, the nomination process and the awards criteria.

Having reviewed the first submissions, we have made a few minor tweaks to the wording in the guidance document, which has been created to support you with your submissions and to align with the Capital Delivery ‘Our Safety, Health & Wellbeing Strategy’ document.

This is the criteria we will be assessing your nomination on; please do not use it as a checklist, but to assist you in providing the type of information and evidence that can be used. You do not need to provide information in every section, only those that are relevant to your project and submission.

The assessment activity will also include a review of all leading and lagging H&S performance information submitted in the same period.

We want to hear ‘your story’ about why you believe the project in question should be nominated for the Capital Delivery Project Pride Awards. Let us know any specifics of what you have done on site and make it relevant to the location and project being nominated. You do not need to provide information in every section, only those that are relevant to your submission – less is more!

Please use the link above to complete the form, you will then receive an automated response and a link to provide any evidence. The specifics provided will be reviewed by the judging pane

If the project is successful, the award will be presented on a six monthly basis to the project team. We will be in contact with you and the project manager to discuss logistics for the award presentation and agreed a location, should the project site be transient.

We look forward to reading all about the fantastic work being done for us in Capital Delivery – Good luck!
